Our son is 2016, was a Pro-gamer and was too young to travel alone. Travel from SFO to Sweden - so I accompanied him to Sweden to meet up with the USA team he met there who traveled to Jonkoping to play in the World Championship games (they came second to Europe), and I enjoyed visiting the sites of Stockholm, Sweden, Norway, and a ship to Copenhagen - Scandanavia. Things to do: Unfortunately, I stayed in the suburbs of Sweden and had to travel about an hour by train to the city for a few days; enjoyed some of the tourist sites;Vasa Museum, The Palace; City Hall; The Upsala Cathedral; Oresund Bridge; Abba Museum
Travel: Took a flight from Sweden to Norway and stayed in Oslo near the downtown; What to See: visited the interesting sculptures of Gustav Vigeland. at Frogner Park (everything is so green in Oslo); visited the Viking Norwegian National Gallery to see Edvard Munch’s The Scream. An icon of modern art which is painted on cardboard; the Oslo Opera House (the DFDS ship is docked in front of it in the picture on the right which I took to Copenhagen); other museums, The Nobel Peace Prize Museum in the left picture; and enjoyed the meatball dish opposite the Museum. Also visited the Royal Palace.

Took the DFDS ship from the Oslo fjord which was quite scenic late afternoon for a few miles only then overnight to Copenhagen; everything was available on the ship, even shopping; had a great time having dinner and then dancing on the ship; yeah, no one was dancing, so I decided to lead the way and then a group of people from Japan rushed to the dance floor to accompany me. Arrived in Copenhagen (Denmark's Capital) the next day and it was wonderful to see the royal family's Amalienborg Palace as we entered the harbor; stayed at a place near the downtown to see all the sights; Nyhavn (New Harbor), Strøget Shopping area with so many boutiques and cafes; Kastellet & The Little Mermaid bronze sculpture near Nyhaven written by Hans Cristian Anderson; took the train over the water to Odense (picture of the home he lived into the right) near Copenhagen to see where Hans Christian Anderson was born; his museum was interesting too - a genius who wrote all those amazing fairytale stories. He is the Danish master of literary fairy tales whose stories achieved world recognition. Saw the oldest brewery too. Then took the high-speed train back to Stockholm, Sweden for about 5-6 hours - saw all the beautiful countryside of Copenhagen and Sweden.
